LA wildfires videos

Role
Writer, director

Work
Airbnb.org provided free, emergency housing to more than 23,000 people impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. To raise awareness of the nonprofit’s impact, we created videos about survivors who stayed in Airbnbs while they searched for long-term housing. The families we featured had lived in Altadena for generations and are staples of their community. While staying in Airbnbs, they benefited from having space to begin the recovery process, and access to the comforts of home like kitchens, laundry, and backyards.

I was responsible for sourcing stories, interviewing subjects, developing the narratives, directing the film shoots, and writing copy for all marketing materials used to distribute the films.
